The Wedding
We met in high school back in Fall 1993, when we had a class together. After some time and getting to know each other we began dating around Valentine's day in 1994. We've been together ever since.
On Christmas Day in 1999, he proposed to me. (^_^) We immediately scheduled our wedding for October 28th 2000. But one thing we both wanted since the beginning was to get married in Disney. We set it up with Disney Fairytale Weddings and it was a magical dream come true!!
We had everything we wanted and it will always be one of my most precious memories. Aside from the Disney aspect,(even though we're not Mickey fans. :p ) we included a number of other themes into our wedding. Number one of those was Star Wars. Of course, we didn't go overboard or get too fanatical, we did enjoy some key elements. We walked into our Reception to the Celebration music at the end of "A New Hope" and brandishing lightsabers. But the best part was our wedding cake! You'll know why when you see it. ;)
Also, during the Ceremony, we requested a special song. For those gamers our there, we chose the theme song to Final Fantasy VIII, "Eyes on Me" to be played by the musicians. And to be frank, during those moments when it just played were the closest I came to crying throught the whole experience! I was so ecstatic that even the Photographer commented that the 'smile was plastered onto my face.' :8} But how could one not be happy when their dreams have become reality??
